On November 12, 2023, I was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI).
Not in my wildest dreams did I think I would receive this prestigious recognition one day.
I want to say THANK YOU to Drs. Wendy Chapman (Associate Dean of Digital Health and Informatics at the University of Melbourne) and Vimla Patel (Senior Research Scientist, The New York Academy of Medicine). They have provided me with generous mentorship and support throughout my clinical informatics career. They are my role models!
Inspired by my mentors, my goal is to help my mentees, especially those from underrepresented groups, find their passion and achieve their dreams.
